LET´S TAKE CARE OF

NATURE

Nature Education

Climate change has made it an urgent need to become aware of the importance of caring for the environment for our own survival. For this reason, a second aspect of this professional training is closely related to outdoor activities, art and environmental education. Child development needs to be comprehensive, allowing the construction of the same structures with which we later relate. We must never forget that we are biological organisms and that our health depends, to a large extent, on how healthy is the environment in which we grow is. Our ability to achieve the greatest well-being throughout our lives is related to activities, habits and learning achieved in the first years of our lives.

Educating for Nature

Climate change has made it an urgent need to become aware of the importance of caring for the environment for our own survival. For this reason, a second aspect of this professional training is closely related to outdoor activities, art and environmental education. Child development needs to be comprehensive, allowing the construction of the same structures with which we later relate. We must never forget that we are biological organisms and that our health depends, to a large extent, on how healthy is the environment in which we grow is. Our ability to achieve the greatest well-being throughout our lives is related to activities, habits and learning achieved in the first years of our lives.

“Environmental Education is learning to coexist and take care of the world we inhabit.”

It is important that children learn to take care of the planet through play for several fundamental reasons:

  1. Effective learning: Children learn best when they have fun. Playing makes learning more engaging and memorable.
  2. Early habits: When children incorporate environmental care habits from a young age, they are more likely to maintain them throughout their lives.
  3. Environmental awareness: The play can help children understand important concepts about the environment, such as recycling, water conservation, and nature protection.
  4. Responsibility and empathy: By playing to take care of the planet, children develop a sense of responsibility and empathy towards other living beings and the environment.
  5. Creativity and problem solving: Games that involve caring for the planet often require children to think creatively and solve problems, important skills for their overall development.

Taking care of the planet through play is not only effective and fun, but it establishes a solid foundation for children to become responsible and environmentally conscious adults.

01

Reduce

"The best legacy we can leave to the next generations is a healthy planet and an education that motivates them to take care of it."

Orchards and vertical gardens

Orchards and vertical gardens

An activity that we try to carry out in our play centers is the creation and care of a garden. That children can witness the entire process, from cleaning and preparing the land to planting, caring for and harvesting their crops, provides them with a unique opportunity to understand the relationship between human beings and nature. They will see with pride the result of their efforts and care in the harvested products. Also in this year 2022 we have made Vertical Gardens made with recycled material and using the facades of the communal houses, the little ones enjoy and take care of their green space.
