Research

Intervention and training must be inspired by research, by the knowledge we have about development and education, but at the same time they must aim to go beyond what is already known, to continue researching and learning. A teacher must learn while teaching. If it doesn't, then something is wrong. We must learn from our interventions and our training processes. But, in addition, there are activities of the FED that are specifically for research. And, due to the specific circumstances in which they were designed, they are complex and interdisciplinary. In some cases they have to do with development processes, as when we studied the construction of identity in migrant adolescents. In others it is more linked to its educational application, such as considering the possible school use of legends and cultural heritage materials recovered in the Sierra de Ayabaca.
